Documentation for Support Workers is a practical, skills‑focused course designed to strengthen the accuracy, clarity, and professionalism of written records across disability, aged care, community, and health support settings.

Accurate, clear, and timely documentation is essential to safe, high‑quality support, and this course builds the confidence and capability of support workers who are responsible for recording client information, reporting changes, and maintaining compliance with organisational, legal, and sector standards.

Participants learn how to document professionally, objectively, and in line with workplace requirements, while understanding the importance of privacy, duty of care, and accountability. Through real‑world examples and guided activities, the course strengthens skills in writing progress notes, incident reports, risk observations, and communication logs.

This course is ideal for disability support workers, aged‑care staff, community support professionals, and anyone who contributes to client records or care documentation. It provides general educational guidance to support workers in applying their organisation’s policies, procedures, and documentation systems more effectively, while reinforcing the need to work within their approved role and scope of practice.

Participants leave with practical tools and the opportunity to build their confidence to document accurately and professionally in their daily work.
